There are even esp32 clients though Spotify works too, you can set it up that the players show up in Spotify connect too It looks like the normal player integration, I'm not sure about further configuration like latency.

It's pretty limited in application though! if you want more control, you could get the Spotify apk, decompile it, change some xml color values and recompile it back!
