Oct 12, 2024 · Killing them is usually faster than trying to work around them in the long run. I don't usually aim for the lower levels until I have completed the skull cavern monster slaying goals. Otherwise, I'll end up stopping at any prehistoric floor to erradicate all the pepper rexes. -Lots of bombs and resources to make more.

I managed to make it past floor 50 (but not 100) and went after every Iridium node I could find. I found a floor with like 10 Iridium nodes. 2 of them yielded Prismatic Shards -- jackpot!
