The creator posted a video of the device internal being used; the coil wires are not attached to anything rational on the small circuit board (which has had the USB charge connector cut off).

It should heat up and a blue LED light up constantly when you slide the lid back. When it’s plugged into charge the LED flashes and will go constant for a few seconds if you slide the lid back but nothing else.

Dec 26, 2021 · The arc lighter is able to sustain a pretty high current and it actually hurt a lot more than I expected. In particular because I just pushed the button and didn't let go until my flinch reflex made me - had I planned ahead and just tapped the button I could have zapped myself for a shorter duration :)

Mar 20, 2024 · Another way you could do it is to use a counter. Have the laser trip signal go to a counter. Make the pass through limit 1. If someone passes the laser, it'll allow power to go to the Tesla coils. Then you can just use a button to reset the counter, turning off the Tesla coils. This way you don't need to use a switch.
