Oct 23, 2011 · Encouraged by the successful rebuild of my Zama C1Q EL7 Husqvarna carb, I decided to dig into my Walbro WT-3 Carb. I had picked up kits for both at the local small engine repair place where I get my Tygon line.

Feb 3, 2011 · Okay, here is my situation. I have a craftsman chain saw with a walbro carb that keeps flooding despite my efforts so far. I have dismanteled the carb and cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner, after which I rinsed off with water, blew out with compressed air, and cleaned with carb cleaner.

May 3, 2017 · I've pulled the carburetor, removed the bowl, float/needle and main jet. I've sprayed it with carb cleaner and blown it out with air gun. Re-installed it, nothing changed. I tried adjusting the valves but they're not out of the Kawasaki spec range. Question: Will a carburetor for FS600 fit the FH541 engine? (17hp versus 19hp)

Oct 20, 2020 · The carburetor is a Walbro HDA 174. I have dissembled the pump diaphragm side, the inlet needle valve side of the carburetor and cleaned everything. The metering lever appears to be even with the diaphragm plate. The manual says the idle needle and high speed needle should start out at 1 turn from closed.

Dec 28, 2014 · The rubber is 0.010" to 0.012" thick, and quite flexible. The carb I was trying to fix was actually a Chinese "HTIC" clone of a WT, and I hoped to use the disk from a scrap Walbro, but it turn out they used a smaller disk than the Walbro. The Walbro disk is about 3.5mm, and the clone is 3mm. So that meant I needed to make one!

I've been tinkering with and repairing small and large equipment for about 10 years now and I've probably rebuilt 50 or so carbs by now, so I have a decent amount of experience and haven't seen this problem yet.
365/372XP mixture adjustments on Walbro HD-12B carburetor
Aug 5, 2023 · I recently built a Farmertec repair parts kit into a nice clone saw. I replaced the Chinese carb (among other parts) with a brand new Walbro HD12B. Saw is a ripper! Only problem I'm having is making carb adjustments is a bitch since I cut all the carb limiter crap off the adustment needles.

Redmax Carburetor problems and testing/adjusting
Feb 5, 2017 · Walbro rotary carbs are tricky (read "PIA") to adjust & most folks don't know about that screw. As Big Fish said, some don't have the plastic tamper plug. I have seen what looks like a brass "bb" blocking the screw.
