Jun 26, 2022 · I will replace my 2021 RAV4 Hybrid with valvoline synthetic tranny fluid at 90k. On my 2010 and 2015 regular Camry, I drained and filled twice at 150k miles with valvoline synthetic tranny fluid which valvoline on the bottle says replaces toyota WS fluid. The tranny work beautifully in both Camry.

Jan 4, 2021 · Demand your car back, walk away from the dealership forever, and buy a 12V battery compatible with a RAV4 Hybrid. They weren't using the same firmware that was involved in the DCM battery draining issue by at least September 2021 when the TSB was issued. If "that" is 'that problem".

Feb 18, 2021 · Interestingly, the Toyota app still displays the same pressures in PSI. I guess there must be some sort of hard wired switch in the Toyota RAV4 TPMS display logic that gets set differently depending on the RAV4 model being built. Still, a dash display that shows the individual tire pressures in kPa is much better than no TPMS dash display at all.

Aug 2, 2022 · The hybrid is really easy on batteries, as it does not use them for starting the Hybrid Synergy drive train. The 12v battery serves to start the computer and as a buffer for the various 12v stuff that a conventional vehicle needs. I have seen references to both Hybrid and Prime 12v batteries. Hybrids made in USA get an AGM battery of late.

Oct 25, 2023 · For the 4.5 RAV4 Hybrid, I currently average 43 mpg. Highway trips can be as high as 50+ mpg. Cold and short trips can be as low (so far) as 32 mpg. The current RAV4 Hybrid seems capable of matching Prius numbers, though so far seems to average lower. This makes sense to me, because the RAV4 is not as aerodynamic and it is also larger.

I lifted my 2020 Hybrid XSE with a 2” lift kit and I plan to keep the OEM 18” wheels and mudflaps. I’d like to know the biggest tire size (width and ratio) I can install without the tires rubbing?
