Best .45 cal carbine - The Firing Line Forums
Jun 11, 2012 · My friend has a Beretta Storm in 45 and I can't recommend it. It only holds 8 rounds and has a horrible trigger. I can do good with it out to 50 yds but who wants a pistol cal carbine with a mag cap so low, and 100% plastic to boot. Why wont someone come out with a big bore carbine line? Hi-cap, 45 WinMag, 50 AE! I'd buy two.

Mar 16, 2012 · Then again the ballistics look great for a 40 out of a carbine and the extra round would be nice as the 45 is a 9 shot and the 40 is a 10 shot. My personal thought is that the 40 would reach out a little further and stay a little more accurate but the 45 would do more damage at close range but fall faster.

Beretta CX4 .45 extended mags - The Firing Line Forums
Sep 9, 2011 · The CX4's using the PX4 and 92/96 mags are for the 9mm and .40 cal CX4. The .45 cal CX4 uses the same mag (8045) as the Beretta or Stoegar Cougar 45 and no one but Sierra Papa makes hicap mags for them. I have 3 of them and they are very well made. I have only shot about 400 rounds thru them but I have had no problems.
