A mixed air sensor can be used to provide Mixed Air Low Limit (MALL) control. If the mixed air temperature drops below its setpoint, the MALL overrides the control signal. The outdoor air damper modulates closed, and the return air damper modulates open (in unison). Always provide MALL on units in wetted coil installations.
The optional fresh-air damper opens or closes to maintain the zone air quality. The application uses a set of four dry contact binary inputs (the two BIs and two UIs configured as BIs) for the following functions:
