Sep 12, 2018 · Now I wanted to get a smart watch and compared the 44mm/40mm apple watch side by side at the store and thought to myself I‘ll obviously buy the bigger 44mm version, which I did. After two days of wearing the 44mm I decided to resell it and get the 40mm version.

Oct 17, 2018 · Below are a couple of pictures from yesterday, when I tried the different sizes out. I've also included a picture of the regular watch I'm currently wearing. It's about the same height as the 44 mm Apple Watch and I very much like the size of it, but as it is circular it does of course look a little smaller overall. My wrist is about 160 mm around.

Sep 12, 2018 · As mentioned above, if you're a watch guy/girl, and you want something more reminiscent of a classic luxury watch, 38/40 is the way to go. If you want something that looks like a smartwatch, or an oversized department store watch, 42/44 is the way to go.

Sep 12, 2018 · There is one more thing worth to mention. The 40mm Apple Watch is much better (on any wrist < 18cm) to show off your band. All bracelets/bands/straps have much better appearance on a smaller watch. If AW fills entire wrist then the band goes just straight down under the wrist and you can't really see it much.
