Black Grout - which is best? - Tilers Forums
Jan 31, 2014 · The grout needs to be as black as possible. I don't mind paying for quality stuff, to help keep my tiler happy (considering it sounds like a tricky job anyway). Laying on masonry walls, solid timber floor & concrete kitchen floor. Some joints likely to be up to 10mm. I've been searching for hours but still feel confused.

Saw one job that was meant to be black but the tiler had tried to wash it completely clean when doing the grouting that it had turned grey, he had washed away the pigment. Got asked if I fancied regrouting it but not worth the hassle.

Sep 23, 2009 · Sep 30, 2009. #13 of 15. any maxi grout is terrible to use, its a very grainy grout and although it says its flexi it aint and always cracks. specially the ivory grout it goes a greeny colour, the white is more like a dirty white. the grey is very dark unlike the bal grey etc. stay clear.
