Feb 13, 2023 · Here is the YouTube link to the map I used in the video. I use a TV, although not a 55 inch (maybe someday haha). I recommend MapTool if you're wanting a Fog of War effect for static maps. I used to use Roll20, but MapTool runs so much smoother and faster.

Mar 14, 2021 · MapTool is great for this. It is open-source and free. Most of the frustration people have getting started with it is networking, which is not an issue if you are using it for displaying to horizontal TV display.

Apr 18, 2021 · It has two windows, the DM view, which lets you control combat, fog of war, and selecting maps, and the Player view, which displays whatever the DM pushes to it. You could have your laptop's main screen showing the DM view, and the TV connected as a second monitor to display the Player view.
