So its unfortunately a lot of that is due to the negative charge on the finish on your wood furniture. In 2003 the EPA got rid of the good finishes/urethane due to HAPs so now all the finish that is used attracts dust due to the ionic charge.

Don't be scared to try lots of ideas. You can make a huge impact on your kitchen with a few days of effort and thought. Most builder kitchen designs are idiotic, IMHO.
Have you ever had wood cut at Home Depot?
Jul 10, 2023 · I've had wood cut at HD and it was fine, but be aware that the part they cut off must be at least 12", so if you buy a 6' board and you need it cut down to 5'2" they will not do that. As long as you purchase the wood there and the cuts are at least 12" they will do 1-2 straight cuts (no angled or mitered cuts) per board for free.

Apparently it is, and I've spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out how bad my Williams Sonoma Pantryware line of dinnerware is. They have a lead-free section of their site and my dishes aren't in it so I don't suspect the news is good.

Aug 15, 2021 · No. Hardwood floors in foyer, living room - dark stain. Kitchen cabinets - cherry all around except the island is a lighter wood (blonde). Doors, crown molding, door frames, window ledges all glossy white. Wooden furniture is all cherry in living room.
Brushed Nickel or Bronze - A decorating question....

We recently "freshened" our kitchen. We have the original, way-old-school cabinets, complete with bronze hinges and knobs. We needed to replace the faucet.
Should I get GE CAFE Matte, OR Kitchen Aid appliances?
Feb 13, 2019 · After having a terrible experience with our previous Samsung fridge, we got a GE and love it - no problems whatsoever. I particularly like the sturdiness of the shelves and drawers. Ours is slate and goes perfectly with our white cabinets and gray limestone counters.
