Jul 10, 2021 · Gundam 0080 -- Just a beautiful, self-contained story. The animation is excellent, and the fight scenes are weighty. I think it's the best, most complete encapsulation of the ideas of Gundam. Also, the Alex is the best Gundam design. Victory Gundam -- It stuck with me in a way none of the other full length UC series did.

Jun 19, 2021 · Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans as the story has much of what makes Gundam good but told with more modern anime tropes and character archetypes. It has likeable characters, some interesting politics, and is generally well written. Gundam 0079 movies as this is the original Gundam series, but trimming most of the fat and with slightly nicer animation.

Direct comparison between the different Gundam Barbatos
Lupus is my least favorite, which seems to be the dissenting opinion here. I love the original, it's design is just so simple and effective. No wasted parts. And then the Lupus Rex's animal and barbaric nature is just so different from any other Gundam out there. Lupus just makes it seem more "Gundam" which also makes it the most boring IMO.
