Dec 8, 2015 · Thank you. I just updated the software and all holiday emojis seemed to have come back. Found Santa, Halloween pumpkin and Christmas tree. All which I was missing. Those emoji have been in ios for 5 years already. So I don't think they were really missing.

They used to be smaller and more tightly packed, but they've now been enlarged and spaced out, meaning it takes longer to find the one I want (I know, 1st world problem 😝). Oct 28, 2024 · All of a sudden it’s evident I’m missing some emojis. When I click to add an emoji there are blank spaces with a little gray circle. I’ve uninstalled the keyboard for emojis, restarted and just did the update to 18.1 and it’s still an issue. [Edited by Moderator]

Sep 18, 2024 · They approve the specifications for the emojis and those are in version 16 of the emoji package. Each manufacturer then creates those emojis from the specifications provided by the Unicode Consortium and with all previous versions of the emoji packages, you will see them on your iPhone in an update when they have been completed.
