Make sure the Monitor is connected to your Surface Dock. Start the Intel Graphics Command Center. Choose your monitor and under General=>Resolution click the Custom button (see the attached screenshot). Add a custom 5120x1440 60Hz resolution. In Windows Display Settings, you should be able to see the new resolution now.

Lately, when the laptop is connected to the dock, the laptop screen gets crazy hot. Like unbelievably hot to the touch. I'm concerned it's going to damage the display.
