Streamelements chatbot working but not sending responses in chat?

I've been using streamelements for the past 6 months with no issues at all, but yesterday I was working on some commands dealing with counters, and all of a sudden the response messages from the bot just stopped showing in chat. I have a couple timers set up as well and they have stopped showing as well.

Feb 4, 2021 · Okay So I found a solution. I went into the activity feed settings in OBS.Live and made a custom Bot name. It prompted me to make a custom account. So I did that and it worked, and the Commands now work as well. It will probably also work if you set the Bot name to your own account as well.

I prefer the web-based platform rather than the in-app approach. That way I can make updates or do things quickly on the fly from any web browser rather than having to launch my OBS.
