Apr 16, 2009 · The normal Transitions will not darken behind an automotive windshield, they do make a variant (gold/brown, called "Drivewear") that are polarized and will darken while inside of a car. Granted those lenses don't get clear, but they do quite nicely for driving or boating or skiing. I like my Transitions, I cannot speak for the knockoffs.

If you have a plus prescription, then smaller frames mean thicker lenses And there is not much difference between featherweight and featherweight plus. They both have the same center thickness. Under new colors: Blue is ALWAYS neutral, and brown is ALWAYS live (other permitted colors for live are grey and black - e.g. in 2-way switched circuits, or 3-phase wiring).
