Audio Lag - New to the Xbox Series X - AVForums
May 4, 2021 · Xbox series X: HDMI Audio = Dolby Atmos Bitstream Format = Bitream Passthrough = Activated. The TV setting above are the same for all my HDMI ports and I have no lag issues with any inbuilt apps or any other external inputs, like my cable tv box. It is only with the Xbox and seems to be only with Dolby Atmos.

Jul 19, 2010 · With the HDMI still connected to the Xbox and the TV via HDMI port 2 she inserted the Xbox VGA cable at the back of the TV also (I have modified the plastic casing of the VGA cable in order to be able to pipe the HDMI signal to my TV whilst being able to use the optical connection on the VGA cable lead so as to use my Turtle BeacH Headset).

Aug 26, 2007 · My 360 is one without HDMI on it so I cant compare the 2 but for me I prefer VGA over component as I think it does look better. My reasoning is that the res on my 32" TV is 1366x768 and the Xbox can do 1360x768 which is pretty much the same, as its outputting the Xbox is doing all the scaling etc and the TV outputs it without doing anything.

Dec 8, 2020 · I am having some inconsistent results using HDMI-CEC on my Xbox Series X, Basically when I turn on the xbox using the controller everything works lovely. Xbox on, Amp on, TV on. (There in a chain HDMI from Xbox in Amp then from Amp into TV) But when I turn it off the same way using the controller the TV remains on. Amp is off, Xbox is off.

RESOLVED (for now) New Xbox Series X - lost picture/no display
Jan 15, 2024 · It is plugged into my Marantz SR7015 which goes into my Panasonic TV. I tried a different HDMI cable and socket - no joy. I also plugged the Xbox HDMI into my PS4 and that was fine. Tried the Xbox trouble shooting (resetting resolution by holding eject button and power button down) but nothing. So seems like I got unlucky and it has just died.

Jan 17, 2017 · It appears the Xbox One S HDMI Female connector receptacle requires a longer HDMI cable plug to make full pin contact (or the cable I brought is not meeting the HDMI connector dimension spec). When I aligned the MS Xbox One S supplied cable with the above replacement cable side-by-side, the Xbox HDMI cable plug was about ~1mm longer.
