Oct 10, 2020 · Side by side, the iPad Pro 3rd gen wins of course, but the difference is surprisingly subtle. iPad 8th generation is A12 + 3 GB RAM. I haven't used one myself but nonetheless it should be very good, with an SoC that is ballpark in the same league as A10X iPad Pro 2nd gen (sometimes better, sometimes worse), and the same amount of memory as iPad 7.

I also have an iPad Air 5, but I do the same things with both, and the Pro doesn’t lack anything. For light use, iPads’ longevity is astonishing. Dec 21, 2020 · Well i am in New Delhi, India and i can confirm its all the same all over. I was to buy one in November and had to work really hard to find the one I wanted in space gray color. Just a couple of days back only, the 8th gen ones came in stock at Amazon and were sold out within the hour. The wifi ones are depleting pretty fast tbh.
