Here's a little install trick if you don't have the proper seal installation tool that supports the seal lip to hold the tension spring in place on the seal. You can just take some #Vaseline and pack in the back side of the seal, this will hold the tension spring in place. It's a petroleum based jelly and has a low melting point so it'll just blend in with the oil and not harm anything.
