2 people slashed in 20 minutes at separate Downtown Brooklyn subway stations

Crosshatching over a map of Brooklyn, NY. This is a favourite drawing of mine from earlier this year. I worked with the broad, blocky patterns of the map to convey basic tone, as well as the empty spaces, which allowed for more detail and more expressive crosshatching. I can't decide which half is more successful, but ultimately I think it's the way both parts work together. What do you think?
